Meisha WatsonMeisha Watson's captivating journey began in London, England, but at just 14 years old, her family embarked on a new adventure, settling in the great white north.
Since then, Meisha has carved an extraordinary path, donning numerous hats within the entertainment industry - from hosting and producing to directing and speaking. Her resume boasts an impressive array of accomplishments, from her days hosting YTV's The Zone and the Zone Weekend, gracing the stage as a presenter at the Canadian Screen Awards and interviewing top chef from across the country. However, Meisha's true passion lies in using her platform to spread the love of Jesus. Parker MeginbirBorn and raised in Saskatchewan, Parker married his wife, Amy, from Ontario. After spending several years out west, they packed up their lives—three kids and twelve years later—and moved 25 hours east to Kitchener/Waterloo.
Parker came to Christ through a youth group invitation, giving him firsthand experience of both the struggles and joys of being a young believer. Since then, he has served as a youth ministry volunteer, youth pastor, camp speaker, and retreat speaker. Today, he calls Verity Community Church in KW home. When teaching youth about the Bible, Parker often says, “I’m not interested in a believer having a checklist and following it—I want them to know the heart behind the rule.” His greatest desire is for people to understand that God is truly the best for them. Parker’s best days are spent combining his love for God, family, and the church with a round of golf or a great espresso. His hope and prayer is that, as life goes on, God would be seen as greater, and he would become less (John 3:30). |
