Pack up your tent and sleeping bag, Phoenix Fest is a great way to enjoy the outdoors. Youth groups have their own site, that is set up next to a number of different churches from across Ontario.
We have found that this creates a unique setting for community and spontaneous opportunities to meet some new friends.
Our community of youth groups camp together, eat together and interact together providing a unique immersive experience. This is strategic to allow for students to grow in their friendships with both those in their youth group and those from all over Ontario.
Students can choose to engage with as many activities as they feel comfortable. There is something for everyone!
There's lots of time and space for quiet discussion and long walks.
Phoenix Fest is not a spectator weekend - there are many unique options for students to enjoy - whether its sports, art creators studio, board game cafe, arcade, dance parties, karaoke, campfires, our massive foam party slip and slide or movies under the stars - there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Does your group have something that they could bring something to share with other groups? This is a really neat add on that brings out the interactive and communal nature of the weekend.
While our main session communicators are excellent, we place priority on doing deeper learning with our own youth groups. After each main session, students gather with their youth groups for small group discussions and prayer. It's here the teaching becomes personal and practical. Leaders engage directly with their students and can follow-up with them throughout the weekend and beyond!
The organizers of Phoenix Fest have a unique ownership over the weekend, because we are creating this event not only for your youth group, but for ours as well. We are all youth leaders like you. We pray all year long for our students to know, love and serve Jesus, and we work diligently to create this weekend experience where they will be impacted by the grace and transformative power of Jesus.
